How long will my diffuser last?
There are many factors that determine how long reed diffuser oils last, including air conditioning, humidity, heating, draughts, direct sunlight, open and closed doors. Reeds can last up to 4 – 6 months.
How often should I flip the reeds?
The reed diffuser sticks can be flipped when you want an extra burst of fragrance or when you notice there is no scent. Some people choose to flip daily while others choose weekly. Be careful not to drip any as it can react with some surfaces. Be sure to clean any spillage immediately.
Safety recommendations for diffusers
Do not ingest oils. Use caution when filling your bottles with oil or flipping your reeds as oils can damage some surfaces. Do not light reeds. Be careful not to tip over the diffuser. Keep out of reach from children and pets.
Are reed diffusers environmentally friendly?
All reed diffusers are environmentally friendly, long lasting and slow releasing. They are a safe way to scent a room with no open flame or hot wax. They are vegan friendly and are not tested on animals. Our diffuser base does not contain phthalate, parables, Dipropylene glycol (DPG) or alcohol.
Can I re-use my reed diffuser reeds?
We do not recommend the re-use of reed diffuser sticks, especially when you switch to a new fragrance and if the reeds become clogged with dust. If you have no scent after turning your sticks, they may be clogged and so you will need to replace the sticks to have the scent going again.
Care, Safety and Best Use:
DIRECTIONS: Initially allow the sticks to become completely saturated by rotating twice and then flip the sticks weekly to freshen the scent. For a more subtle fragrance or to adjust for a smaller space, use fewer sticks.
- Do not use near flames or heat.
- Do not put sticks on a fragile or varnished surface once diffused.
- Wipe spills immediately with a damp cloth.
- Keep away from children and pets.
